Introduction As a photographer, I was thrilled to be part of the Colour Frenzy Wollongong 2024 experience. The vibrant colours, energetic atmosphere, and the sheer joy of the participants created an unforgettable backdrop for my camera.

My Photographic Approach My goal was to capture the essence of the event, from the anticipation in the crowd to the explosion of colour and the shared excitement. I focused on:

Memorable Moments One of the most memorable moments was when I managed to capture a perfect shot of a group of friends throwing powder at each other, their laughter echoing through the crowd. Another highlight was capturing the breathtaking aerial view of the event from a nearby rooftop.

Challenges and Overcoming Them While the event was a visual feast, it also presented some challenges. The bright colors could sometimes overexpose the image, so I had to adjust my settings accordingly. Additionally, capturing the fast-paced action of the powder explosions required quick reflexes and a keen eye.
