CONTENT UPDATE: Let’s Talk consistency. I am writing this post on the bus on the way to respective commitments, was going to record, edit a video but the reality is, typing is faster. A video on this will be on the way soon.
consistent /kənˈsɪst(ə)nt/ adjective 1. acting or done in the same way over time, especially so as to be fair or accurate.
As per the definition above, I haven’t been “consistent” in my YouTube, the blog on this website, posting on social media and all. Why is this? Let’s explain.
The Finding time to produce content
A while back (years ago), I done a post how to balance work and social media, some people may say I am a hypocrite however the reality is, that some people, including myself, have so many commitments on, there is no time to post on social media, and/or I am just focusing on other things,
There is endless planning and preparation, getting the story line, etc. Also editing. Editing took up time, I even considered hiring a editor for a video, but it’s better if I edit myself, as you viewers may not like said editors editing style.
Finding the time to plan, and shoot Was easy at most times, whip out the phone. Edit. Upload. No.
Is this a GOOD thing?
Well yes and but it depends. A social media detox is where we take time off social media to presue other things. And 100% I had been doing that, and still will continue. While returning to YouTube (soon hopefully)
The Reality.
I always say, I have many commitments such as work and study, which is now the case, with semester returning for my Diploma Screen & Media.
“Well, you had time in the break to do content, didn’t you?”
Some subscribers via email/social media
Kalab in Hyde Park
Well, yes and no, Content was Filmed, such as this vlog and some other content such as YouTube Shorts,
With semester 2 returning, middle of the year, we will get busy, work experience opportunities, networking events, personal projects and much more. I will have more time to generate content. For example, I am writting thus photos on the bus, I’ll have much opportunity to film even short videos, going to YouTube Shorts, IG reels etc.
However a main point I have is that not everything has to be on camera. Meaning, I had done LOTS of stuff, however some wasn’t recorded or Filmed. However we took photos, see below!
Kalab at North Sydney
The social aspect. Going to events etc, not to be the photographer, but to be social. I am always driven to produce content online, but detox is important and necessary at times.
Another element is that I said in the final video of 2021 that content will be unpredictable and uncertain in 2022, as I will be focussing on other things in life, work, study related etc.
That was for sure, let’s say this as a FINAL NOTE for this post, I will return to YouTube and posting content on relevant channels eventually, commitments and life get in the way, that is my priority, let’s put social media one way and the main life around to the other.
BIG THINGS ARE COMING SOON, THE WAIT WILL BE WORTH IT. STAY TUNED FOR FURTHER UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS EXCLUSIVE TO KALABTEMPLEMAN.COM AND YOUTUBE.

We are all ADDICTED to our phones, but what are some etiquettes that you should follow with those phones in common situations?.. Read this post NOW to find out!
1: Phones off during meal times / catching up w/ friends
You… yeah you, you should switch off the table during meal times or when you are catching up with family or friends: (Unless you’re expecting important news) but please, just put it down
2: Phone Calls In Public? DO IT QUIETLY!
We all need to take phone calls here and there, to chat with friends, to request callback at kalabtempleman.com and more, but please, if you’re in public and need to take phone calls, please do it quietly or use headphones. We do not want to hear what you had for breakfast!
3. Avoid talking about personal or confidential topics in a public place
Shhhhh!
If you are talking about a personal issue or a confidential problem or issue, it’s best not to do.this in public, as these conversations should be kept for private.
4: Selfie Stick Etiquette (this really needs it’s own blog post!)
Everyone loves selfie sticks, If you are going to use a selfie stick, be considerate with others. And make sure you use it appropriately! Do not swing it around, or use it at inappropriate places like, places of worship or funerals. Just don’t. Just be respectful!
5: Pick an Inoffensive Ringtone
There’s always been that moment where you’ve been in a meeting, or at school, or at work, and your phone has rang, and it blasts a inappropriate song, not good hey?
Moral of this point: use a standard “ring ring” kind of ringtone, or something more appropriate, otherwise people are gonna hate you for it!
6: Use Silent Mode!
Use silent mode: Leaving your phone on your desk? Make sure you choose a silent ringtone. You’ll annoy your colleagues if your phone keeps ringing. And ringing. And ringing. Just please, don’t do it!
7: Don’t overuse hashtags:
We always say that #hashtags are your best friend in regards to promo, BUT…. please, don’t use to many hashtags! I recommend 10 #hashtags MAX!
8: Stop the loud speaker calls! (Most cases)
Hey… Don’t be one of those people who hold their phone in front of their mouths with the loud speaker switched on like they’re auditioning to be on The Apprentice or something. Hold the phone up to your ear and adjust the volume. Or use headphones.

What Is Sub4Sub? Sub4Sub, or ‘sub for sub’, is the practice of subscribing to somebody else’s channel in exchange for them subscribing to yours. Whether Sub4Sub works is very debatable as people say it’s good, and others say it’s bad, however, it is fairly popular. At the end of the day, it’s really one of the worst things to do. See below for the full post!
TLDR: This is a content update; Am focussing on work and study at the moment. No guarantees on content at this time as even though YouTube wasn’t a high priority for some time, but i am working on a way to slowly come back to create content on YouTube & social media. Stay tuned for further informationand read along below for more,
I hope this message finds you well.
I’m writing to let you know an update regarding content, with no videos for 4 months and no live stream broadcasts for almost a year, in reality i haven’t necessary quit YouTube, As some people have assumed this, Let’s just say i am focussing on the future career wise, working and exploring great opportunities, also continuing my studies for the Advanced Diploma in Screen & Media at TAFE NSW. This is the focus, YouTube and social media will always be there.
As you all know, I’ve been creating content for the past 7+ years, and it’s been an amazing experience. I’ve learned so much, and I’ve met so many amazing people. , I’ve also reached a point where I took a step back and focussed on other things, As things are starting to get steady with study and work, i can hopefully start to resume with YouTube content. I may resume content once a fortnight to start, Maybe once every 3 weeks, something is better than nothing, i don’t want to put out useless content, or another nonsense “update video” (unless its a YouTube short, this is referring to long form content.- I want to return with a banger, I’m just waiting until the right time comes. This will most likely be within the next few weeks hopefully. The video will be a banger, (hopefully)
For the past few years, I’ve been Studying full-time and creating content in my spare time. It’s been a lot of work, and I haven’t necessary felt burnt out lately I’ve been focussing on my studies.
I know that this may be disappointing to some of you with regards to no content for the meantime, but I hope you understand. I’m not going anywhere, and I’ll be back when I’m ready. In the meantime, I’ll still be around on social media, and I’ll keep you updated on my progress. Rest assured
I’m excited to continue this new chapter in my life, and I can’t wait to share my experiences with you all when I’m back. Thank you for your continued support.

On Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, Australians paused to commemorate ANZAC Day dawn services around the country, marking the 108th anniversary of the World War I Gallipoli landings. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese took part in the national dawn service at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
ANZAC Day is a day of national commemoration and reflection. It is a day to remember and honor the sacrifices made by those who have served and died in military operations . The day is marked by dawn services, parades, and other commemorative events.
In Maitland and East Maitland, thousands of people gathered at dawn to remember the fallen. In Sydney, the main dawn service was held at the Martin Place Cenotaph at 4.30am. In Melbourne, the largest dawn service was held at the Shrine of Remembrance from 5.30am.
The history of ANZAC Day dates back to 1920 when Australia and New Zealand created ANZAC Day as an official holiday to honor those who had fought in the Dardanelles Campaign . Since then it has been broadened to become a memorial day honoring all who served and died in World Wars I and II and in the Korean and Vietnam wars .
ANZAC Day was originally devised to honor the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who served in the Gallipoli Campaign, their first engagement in the First World War (1914–1918) . The acronym ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, whose soldiers were known as Anzacs.
ANZAC Day is not just about remembering the past; it is also about reflecting on the present and looking towards the future. It is a day to show gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy and to reaffirm our commitment to peace.
Bing’s New AI ChatBot: A Game-Changer in Online Search
Bing has recently introduced its new AI ChatBot, a powerful tool that is changing the way we search for information online. With its advanced natural language processing capabilities, the ChatBot can understand and respond to user queries in a conversational manner, providing accurate and relevant information in real-time.
The ChatBot is designed to be user-friendly and engaging, making it easy for users to find the information they need. Whether you’re looking for the latest news, researching a topic, or just need help with a task, the ChatBot is there to assist you.
One of the most impressive features of the ChatBot is its ability to generate content such as poems, stories, code, essays, songs, celebrity parodies and more. This makes it a valuable tool for anyone looking to improve their writing or creative skills.
In addition to its content generation capabilities, the ChatBot also has the ability to perform web searches when the user is seeking information. This means that even if the ChatBot doesn’t have the information internally, it can still provide accurate and up-to-date information by searching the web.
Overall, Bing’s new AI ChatBot is a game-changer in the world of online search. With its advanced capabilities and user-friendly design, it’s sure to become a valuable tool for anyone looking to find information quickly and easily.
Better than ChatGPT?
It’s difficult to say which one is better as it depends on the user’s needs and preferences. Bing AI Chatbot uses a more advanced version of ChatGPT technology with various modifications to make it suitable for search and the general public1. Bing Chat is available on more platforms than ChatGPT, including Android, iOS, and Skype, but requires joining a waitlist1. Bing primarily functions as a search engine and can access web results and up-to-date information, while ChatGPT does not have knowledge of recent events1. Bing offers three Chat modes, while ChatGPT does not have any settings or fine-tuning options1. Microsoft’s new Bing search engine is driven by OpenAI technology “more powerful than ChatGPT”1.
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to give you a quick update on the status of our video content. We are currently have been on a content hiatus due to study and work commitments, but we are excited to say that we will be hopefully resuming our video content soon.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We can’t wait to share more with you in the near future.
[Updated] Instagram ‘link in bio & stories’ not working or opens IG website? You’re not alone (potential workarounds inside)
Instagram’s ‘link in bio’ feature lets users add a link to their bio which takes followers to their website, product page or some other important page.
In other words, ‘link in bio’ refers to the clickable URL on one’s profile that takes you to an external website. Many influencers benefit from this feature as it allows huge traffic, boosts engagement and proliferates blog visitors.
But it seems that the ‘link in bio’ feature is currently bugged and is not taking visitors to the intended page or website.

Everyone’s link in bio feature on Instagram isn’t working at all for me? What’s up with this. It keeps taking me to a web version of IG. Source
When i click a link on Instagram from a Story or bio instead of taking me to where the link goes it sends me to the online version of Instagram can anyone help me fix this?? Source
Ideally, a link in bio or someone’s story should take a user to their website or profile. But it keeps directing them to the web version of Instagram.
For some users, the links in their DMs are also inaccessible. The issue could possibly have been caused by the recent app update.
As a matter of fact, we also witnessed how Instagram and Facebook stories recently started auto-playing with audio on silent mode after a new update.
Even worse, there are also some cases where the link in bios is not opening on Android altogether. And it works absolutely fine on iPhone.
No official acknowledgment, potential workarounds However, it’s not safe to merely speculate as there is no official acknowledgment of the issue where Instagram ‘link in bio’ is not working.
Fortunately, there’s a workaround and it includes the usual deleting and downloading the app again, according to an affected user.
Another workaround involves logging out of the main app and logging back in again.
Instagram-link-in-bio-not-working-issue-workaround Source We’ll keep track of the situation and post an update if and when there are any further developments regarding the matter, so stay tuned.
Update 1 (September 13, 2022) 10:22 am According to one of our team members, links in bio and stories are working fine on the previous v250.0.0.21.109 of the app on Android.
Hence, you can revert back to the previous version and see if the issue gets resolved.
Update 2 (September 14, 2022) 04:46 pm Instagram app has got a new update on Play Store with v252.0.0.17.111. Hence, those affected can install it and see if it fixes the issue with links in bio and stories.
Update 3 (September 16, 2022) 06:49 pm Some users now say that uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesn’t work for them, while others say it does. So you may have to try your luck with this workaround.
Thanks for the tip: Melissa Valdez!
Update 4 (September 19, 2022) 05:58 pm (IST): According to some users (1, 2), the latest app updates on both iOS and Android do not resolve the problem. So for now, they can only wait until the next update arrives, hopefully with a definitive fix.
Update 5 (September 20, 2022) 05:27 pm It appears that this bug is only affecting Instagram app as a Redditor has confirmed that the browser version does not have such an issue.
Update 6 (October 18, 2022) 09:30 am (IST): Fresh reports suggest that Instagram users are again experiencing issues where the ‘link in bio’ is either not working or not updating on their profile.
@instagram links aren’t working in our bios – please fix?? Source
I can’t add links in bio. I need some help asap Source
12:30 pm In some cases, when users try to add links to the bio, they receive an error message that says ‘We’re sorry but something went wrong’.
Update 7 (January 26, 2023) 10:06 am ): Some users are again reporting (1, 2) that the links in bio are not working. Meanwhile, others have reported (1, 2) that short links aren’t working for them.
This change is apparently made to prevent malicious content.
Note: We have more such stories in our dedicated Instagram section so be sure to follow them as well.

NSW to scrap mandatory isolation period for people infected with Covid-19
As of October 14, Covid positive people will no longer have to self-isolate
In breaking news, NSW has officially scrapped all Covid-19 isolation rules, meaning that people infected with Covid will no longer be mandatorily required to isolate for five days after testing positive.
Following a unanimous decision by national cabinet, all Australian states and territories will no longer be federally required to implement isolation rules, with everyone in NSW and Australia-wide seeing these requirements end as of October 14. How this will look will be left in the hands of state powers, with NSW premier Dominic Perrottet a main instigator behind this push to eradicate Covid health restrictions.
After October 14, support payments for people infected with Covid will also cease, however there will be exceptions for those who are casual workers across the sectors of aged care, disability care, hospital care and Aboriginal health care, with national cabinet agreeing to continue targeted financial assistance for all people involved in all these sectors.
This call comes off the back of the Australian government’s decision to move away from considering Covid-19 an “emergency”, with prime minister Anthony Albanese saying in a statement to the ABC that an isolation mandate required government support, but now, as we move forward, things have changed, with him adding that it wasn’t feasible for government to pay support wages “forever”.
“It was always envisaged that these measures were emergency measures that were put in place”, Albanese said.
NSW will implement these changes as of Friday, October 14.
YouTube Premium is YouTube’s subscription service which has many premium features,
These include:
Ad free videos/music
Can save vidoes/music offline
Access to YouTube Originals
Acces to YouTube Music
Can listen to videos/music in the background
I’d say YouTube Premium is way better, as you get all of those features that are stated above. Ones that i want to point out are ad free videos and can download/save offline vidoes.Don’t you hate all the ads? I did for a long time, YouTube Premium solves this. No ads 🙂 And we also can save videos offline to view when there’s no internet connection.
There is a cost, now the price depends on what specific service – YouTube Music premium or YouTube Premiun (compared below)
Prices shown are in USD*
Now, since i’m a loyal i myself still pay the same one price (as there was a price increase when thy changed it from YT Red to YT Premium)
My Final Thoughts:
YouTube Premium is a great service, and is so much better then normal YouTube, so much better without the ads and i can download music and videos too! And i love the background play!!
R U OK DAY VIDEO FROM 2020 (STILL RELEVANT IN 2022 HENCE REPOSTING)
R U OK Day is Thursday 8th September 2022. It is the national day of action when Australians are reminded that every day is the day to ask, ‘Are you ok?’
2022 has been a challenging year for many in our community; we have had to learn how to operate in a world where social distancing is now the norm, and many have been required to self-isolate or to quarantine. These circumstances have made it more important than ever to promote the important messages of R U Ok? Day. Today we will be talking a look at R U OK day, and giving some info.
It’s not always easy to keep the conversation going when someone says they’re not OK, but it could change a life. Also remember that, today isn’t the only day to R U OK, we should be asking R U OK, everyday, it’s common sense.
By starting a conversation and commenting on the changes you’ve noticed, you could help that family member, friend or workmate open up. If they say they are not ok, you can follow our conversation steps to show them they’re supported and help them find strategies to better manage the load. If they are ok, that person will know you’re someone who cares enough to ask.Learn the signs it’s time to ask R U OK? Take the R U OK? Quiz
GETTING READY TO ASK
Before you can look out for others, you need to look out for yourself. And that’s ok. If you’re not in the right headspace or you don’t think you’re the right person to have the conversation, try to think of someone else in their support network who could talk to them. To help you decide whether you’re ready to start a meaningful conversation, ask yourself:
AM I READY?
Am I in a good headspace?
Am I willing to genuinely listen?
Can I give as much time as needed?
AM I PREPARED?
Do I understand that if I ask how someone’s going, the answer could be: “No, I’m not”?
Do I understand that you can’t ‘fix’ someone’s problems?
Do I accept that they might not be ready to talk? Or they might not want to talk to me?
PICKED MY MOMENT?
Have I chosen somewhere relatively private and comfy?
Have I figured out a time that will be good for them to chat?
Have I made sure I have enough time to chat properly?
TIPS ON HOW TO ASK
1. ASK R U OK?
Be relaxed, friendly and concerned in your approach.
Help them open up by asking questions like “How are you going?” or “What’s been happening?”
Mention specific things that have made you concerned for them, like “You seem less chatty than usual. How are you going?”
IF
If they don’t want to talk, don’t criticise them.
Tell them you’re still concerned about changes in their behaviour and you care about them.
Avoid a confrontation.
You could say: “Please call me if you ever want to chat” or “Is there someone else you’d rather talk to?”
2. LISTEN WITH AN OPEN MIND
Take what they say seriously and don’t interrupt or rush the conversation.
Don’t judge their experiences or reactions but acknowledge that things seem tough for them.
If they need time to think, sit patiently with the silence.
Encourage them to explain: “How are you feeling about that?” or “How long have you felt that way?”
Show that you’ve listened by repeating back what you’ve heard (in your own words) and ask if you have understood them properly.
3. ENCOURAGE ACTION
Ask: “What have you done in the past to manage similar situations?”
Ask: “How would you like me to support you?”
Ask: “What’s something you can do for yourself right now? Something that’s enjoyable or relaxing?”
You could say: “When I was going through a difficult time, I tried this… You might find it useful too.”
If they’ve been feeling really down for more than 2 weeks, encourage them to see a health professional. You could say, “It might be useful to link in with someone who can support you. I’m happy to assist you to find the right person to talk to.”
Be positive about the role of professionals in getting through tough times.

4. CHECK IN
Pop a reminder in your diary to call them in a couple of weeks. If they’re really struggling, follow up with them sooner.
You could say: “I’ve been thinking of you and wanted to know how you’ve been going since we last chatted.”
Ask if they’ve found a better way to manage the situation. If they haven’t done anything, don’t judge them. They might just need someone to listen to them for the moment.
Stay in touch and be there for them. Genuine care and concern can make a real difference.

How is it going, everybody? It’s Kalab here from kalabtempleman.com, in this video. I want to give you guys a super quick update on my return now. Guys, I know it’s been a long time since about on YouTube. It has nearly been two months since the official blog or whatever happened and June the both two months now it’s been a lot that’s been going on.
I’ve been busy with work and my diploma with work. I will be looking at like 25, 30 hours each week. Plus with the diploma will got some amazing projects. I’m so busy. It, it’s unbelievable. Of course with being with me being busy, that is meant I haven’t had time to upload on YouTube. I haven’t had time to post content on social media.
I’ve done the occasional YouTube show, but even then that’s been once a fortnight. So first of all, right off the bat I want to apologize and yes, I have been slack, have been producing content and not even just on YouTube, on Instagram or Facebook or video on my discourse. But let’s talk about the video and let’s talk about what the return will look like as if this could be the return itself.
I’m not sure a lot of things are very unpredictable of the moment. Just, you know, look, with Colbert and look with everything that happened in the past and now. So what is the time? Well, this weekend I’m going to build a board. So I’m definitely going to blow job, whether that vlog will be the return or I’m not.
Joel, it could be a sit down video like this where I explained with what’s been going on now, in addition to that, you know, after I’ve done the individual return and all that stuff, what’s the plan? But I can recall in the previous official video that I done, I was like, Oh, the guys fell and smashed the break and we are going to upload more content, which of course that didn’t happen because I was so busy with work and just even though, yes, I was on semester break, I was still working on a lot of projects and stuff like that.
So yes, because I was on the semester break, I didn’t really necessarily stop. So once I do the return, what does that mean with regards to content? Well, I don’t want to burn myself out and I feel at the end of it. We were coming up to the end of semester when I was doing buying videos and all of it just was burned out.
I was burnt out and I felt that, you know, and a part of it as well was taking a break from social media, which, you know, you need a break after being on YouTube now. I’ve been on YouTube alone for six and a half years, but at the end of the day, I feel that with all this return and all this stuff, I want to do it well.
I can manage to have professional and quality content, but not get rained out. So for example, the old dashboard video that we’re going through this week and you know, that could be uploaded mid of next week at the beginning, we might just get started with one video a week or maybe, you know, one video and a YouTube shown, you know, on a week.
And then as we continue to engage with more content, you know, you do more videos and, you know, just to start flow, I guess with the build up. And, you know, so I feel that for the most part for me to not so much balance back and do all five videos a week is really good. Start with one video a week.
And I mean it this video could be this week’s video and then the whole blog could be next week’s video. Who knows? But I’ve been starting with not one video a week. Once we started with the one video we week start to pick up, you know, do two videos a week for a bit, see how it goes. If I need to go back to one, I will.
And now I do, I guess the slow increase. And then, you know, it was the blogs and tech and stuff. Many have gone to have an overload of maybe a week or two and then come back with a video. But this has been the longest. It’s literally been two months, so it’s been a while. And when I don’t upload don’t ask questions.
So this is the reality. I’m a busy person. I’m now with live streaming on. I think it’s been nearly three months since I’ve done a live through and imagine this is sort of the previous video I’ve been for what time frame? To be honest, I don’t really know all I do. I say this over the years I never have to go through.
I have a guy because I need to be flexible with what I’m doing on social media on my own. Like on down is on. Like I’ll be like, right, we’re going live, right? Boom, boom, boom, boom. Boom and not go live, which has been the case for the past few months. So I guess at the moment the go schedule will be whenever like and whenever I’ve got 20 or 30 or even an hour to go live before work like I want to do now working tonight.
But I thought from an edited video and upload it before work. Judge you better than once. Don’t you know I’m yeah. Look I have a live drains knows the schedule as yet or knows that guides or is based at the moment. I’m going to do them whenever I can because I can’t whether I like if I could be out in the real world, so to speak, making an impact, helping people and improving myself.
That’s just the reality. It is what it is as I said, I like we use interview about a year ago and yes, this is the longest that it’s been. But my to my knowledge, the longest that it’s been since I have an upload of it on YouTube, not even using YouTube, but all social media. This is only the start of the supposed return.
Zooey is. But yes, the previous video I said it was the Beatles do it was really of the time I guess at the end of the day they’re all about setting your priorities is like doing social media like literally not going to work your roster but you don’t go to work you do on YouTube or is a priority going to work.
Don’t don’t study you know do I classify YouTube as a priority in a sense? It’s definitely still a priority. I still want to upload content and upload a high quality content and engage the audience. This video might be a bit long, but I’m not. But it’s just setting about priorities. And at the time, YouTube wasn’t really a priority.
I was busy with work. YouTube’s definitely a priority in one sense, but in another sense I’ve got like 30 other priorities higher than you do. I want to thank you. Overwatch you give me. I know this video may be long, but let me tell you that if you’ve watched this whole video comment down below, the nice man gave it up then I know you watch the whole video as of when the next video will be.
I want to be completely honest. I do not know who the other boards blog me. Another random blog could be a tech video I don’t know what the direction is yet. I guess we’re going to play by it for now, but I believe now I’ll give you guys a full breakdown first on kalabtempleman.com
You’ve got some big things coming. I need you on you. Don’t forget to and notifications on, Yes, I can say the wait was worth it. Kalab from kalabtempleman.com. thank you for watching I’ll see you next time. Bye for now.
Scams on Instagram happen when people create fake accounts or hack into existing Instagram accounts that you’ve followed. The scammers use these fake or compromised accounts to trick you into giving them money or personal information.
Note: Instagram will never send you direct messages about your account in the Instagram app. To help you identify phishing and spam emails, you can view official Instagram emails sent within the last 14 days from your Settings.
Things to watch out for:
People who you don’t know in person asking you for money.
People asking you to send them money or gift cards to receive a loan, prize or other winnings.
Anyone asking you to pay a fee in order to apply for a job.
Accounts representing large companies, organisations or public figures that are not verified.
People claiming to be from Instagram security asking you to provide account information (such as your username or password) or offering you account verification services.
People asking you to move your conversation off Instagram to a less public or less secure setting, such as a separate email address.
People claiming to have a friend or relative in an emergency.
People who misrepresent where they are located.
Messages that appear to come from a friend or a company you know that ask you to click on a suspicious link.
Accounts that have a brief history on Instagram.
Messages or posts with poor spelling and grammatical mistakes.
People or accounts asking you to claim a prize.
People or accounts that offer items at an extreme discount.
If you see something that you think is a scam, you should avoid responding and report the scam to Instagram. Bear in mind that your report is anonymous, except if you’re reporting an intellectual property infringement. The account you reported won’t see who reported them.
Types of scams
Romance scams: Romance scammers typically send romantic messages to people they don’t know, often pretending to be divorced, widowed or in distress. They’ll engage in online relationships claiming to need money for flights or visas. Their goal is to gain your trust, so the conversations may continue for weeks before they ask for money. Be vigilant of engaging in such conversations with people you don’t know in real life.
Lottery scams: Lottery scams are often carried out from accounts impersonating someone you know or an organisation (such as a government agency or a social media platform). The messages will claim that you’re amongst the winners of a lottery and that you can receive your money for a small advance fee. The scammer may ask you to provide personal information, such as your physical address or bank details which they can use for other criminal activities.
Loan scams: Loan scammers send messages or leave comments on posts offering instant loans, at a low interest rate for a small advance fee. Once an initial payment has been made, they may ask for more money to provide a larger loan or simply end the conversation and disappear with the payment. Avoid making any transactions to people that you don’t know.
False investment scams: Scammers may promise unrealistic monetary benefits such as offering to convert a small amount of money into a larger sum (e.g. $100 = $1000) and solicit money from you. This false promise of return on investment results in the scammer disappearing with the payment. Some types of false investment scams to watch out for include “cash flipping” scams, Ponzi schemes or “get rich quick” schemes.
Job scams: Job scammers use misleading or fake job postings to try and get your personal information or money. Avoid job postings that sound too good to be true or that ask you to pay anything upfront. When clicking on a link from a job posting, watch out for websites that seem unrelated to the original job posting or that ask for sensitive information (e.g. government ID) but don’t use secure (https) browsing.
Credit card fraud: Scammers use stolen financial information to make purchases online or to lure others into buying goods or services at a significantly lower price than the market price. If you notice suspicious activity on your credit card, you should report it to your financial institution or local law enforcement.
Paid subscription services: Scammers will offer the sale of paid subscription services or lifetime access to these paid subscription services for a one-off payment. Avoid purchasing subscription-based services from unknown third parties as scammers won’t deliver the product or the product won’t work as they claim it will.
Phishing scam: Phishing is when someone tries to get access to your Instagram account by sending you a suspicious message or link that asks for your personal information. If they get into your account, a scammer may have access to things such as your phone number or email address. They may also change your password to lock you out of your account.
Inauthentic sellers: Inauthentic or misleading sellers may try to use under-priced items to lure buyers into a scam. They may try to create a sense of urgency to get buyers to act quickly, request payment through a non-secure method or misrepresent their location in their posts.

Getting your Instagram account hacked is a serious situation—there’s no guarantee that you can recover a hacked Instagram account. And even if you eventually regain control, the account recovery process is time-consuming and frustrating.
If you use Instagram to promote your business, sell products, and connect with your fans, that could mean going days without access to a crucial social media channel. And since many hackers use the Instagram account to scam other Instagram users, you risk losing the trust of your audience.
It’s crucial to proactively protect your account and know how to take action quickly if hackers slip past your defenses.
Start with a strong password
Your childhood pet’s name paired with an ! and your area code might meet Instagram’s password requirements, but it’s far from a strong password. If your password is easy to remember, it’s probably easy to hack.
Consider using password manager tools such as 1Password and LastPass that auto-generate random, complex passwords and store them in a virtual vault which is protected by encryption and multiple layers of authentication. All that is a techy way to say that your passwords are locked behind (virtual) doors that would make a heist-movie hacker sweat. Password managers are a win-win—you get secure passwords without having to memorize a long stream of gibberish for every app or site you use.
Use two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication puts another barrier between hackers and your Instagram account. If anyone gets your password and attempts to log in from an unrecognized device or location, they’ll be asked to verify their identity with an authentication code.
To set up two-factor authentication, open your Instagram profile on mobile or desktop and go to Settings, Security, then Two-Factor Authentication. From there, you can choose either text messages or an authentication app.
To set up two-factor authentication on Instagram, go to Settings > Security > Two-Factor Authentication
Instagram recommends authentication apps such as Google Authenticator or Auth0 because they are designed specifically for this purpose, so they are more secure than text messages. Think of it this way—how many devices have access to your text messages? If you’re an iCloud user, for example, your text messages might pop up on your iPad or laptop as well.
Once you choose an authentication method, the app will also provide several backup codes in case you lose access to your authentication method. Screenshot your backup codes and store them in a secure location such as password-protected cloud storage like Google Drive or Dropbox.
Monitor third-party apps
Third-party access isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it’s important to keep an eye on which apps are connected to your Instagram account. To check if any third-party apps have access to your Instagram, go to your Instagram Settings, then Security, then Apps and Websites.
To check on third-party apps on Instagram, go to Settings > Security > Apps and Websites
If you use a third-party tool for Instagram analytics or to schedule Instagram posts, this is where you’ll see those connections. When deciding whether or not to keep a connection, ask yourself—is this tool secure on its own, and does this connection help keep my Instagram account secure? For example, a Buffer connection allows you to grant access to analytics and scheduling to multiple people without ever having to share your Instagram password. Plus, Buffer supports two-factor authentication, so your Buffer account is also secure.
Watch out for apps and websites that don’t need regular access to your account. It’s easy to use Instagram to log in to another app or make a purchase and then forget you granted access. Make sure you regularly check to avoid racking up suspicious third-party apps and, when in doubt, revoke access.
Keep in mind that some third-party tools are inherently risky. For example, apps with mass automation such as following/unfollowing accounts are both a security and terms of service risk—Instagram will flag accounts that use mass automation and potentially shut them down.
Learn how to spot phishing messages
Phishing—fraudulent communication designed to trick people into giving up sensitive information—is one of the most common ways of getting an Instagram account hacked.
Phishers slide into your DMs with official-sounding messages. Scammers often pose as an Instagram support account or Instagram copyright help center and try to convince you there is an urgent need to share personal information. Never reply to these messages or click on any links. The Instagram Creators account shared a warning about these types of DMs: https://www.instagram.com/p/CMxxOtrh-vy/embed/?c
Emails from Instagram, built directly into the app, is only one official way for Instagram to contact you. You can view your emails by going to Settings, then Security, then Emails from Instagram, or check your inbox for emails from security@mail.instagram.com.
How to recover a hacked Instagram account
If you suspect your Instagram account has been hacked, there are several steps to follow to regain control of your account.
Hackers usually change your password right away, but sometimes you’ll get lucky and still be able to access your account through a saved login. If that’s the case, immediately change your password, and enable all the security precautions we discussed in the previous section.
If you can’t log in, check your inbox for an email from security@mail.instagram.com. Instagram may reach out to you if they detect suspicious activity. When caught early, changes can be reversed.
You can also request a login link from Instagram by selecting “get helping logging in” on an Android or “forgot password” on an iPhone. If the login link doesn’t work, you’ll need to request a security code. After that, Instagram will ask you to verify your identity by submitting a photo of yourself holding a paper with the security code written on it.
Sounds pretty complicated, right? Unfortunately, the process is both complex and time-consuming. Instagram also doesn’t guarantee account recovery, which is why we highly recommend being proactive about your Instagram account security.
Instagram management requires good security measures
Don’t put all your hard work at risk with weak passwords or lax security. Set up your security measures early so you can concentrate on creating and sharing great content for your audience.

VIA ACCC Scamwatch. Post not endorsed by ACCC/ScamWatch. (Am just spreading awareness!)
Scammers take advantage of people looking for romantic partners, often via dating websites, apps or social media by pretending to be prospective companions. They play on emotional triggers to get you to provide money, gifts or personal details. On this Valentine’s Day, follow these tips and suggestions so you won’t Get scammed.
How this scam works
Dating and romance scams often take place through online dating websites, but scammers may also use social media or email to make contact. They have even been known to telephone their victims as a first introduction. These scams are also known as ‘catfishing’.
Scammers typically create fake online profiles designed to lure you in. They may use a fictional name, or falsely take on the identities of real, trusted people such as military personnel, aid workers or professionals working abroad.
Dating and romance scammers will express strong emotions for you in a relatively short period of time, and will suggest you move the relationship away from the website to a more private channel, such as phone, email or instant messaging. They often claim to be from Australia or another western country, but travelling or working overseas.
Scammers will go to great lengths to gain your interest and trust, such as showering you with loving words, sharing ‘personal information’ and even sending you gifts. They may take months to build what may feel like the romance of a lifetime and may even pretend to book flights to visit you, but never actually come.
Once they have gained your trust and your defences are down, they will ask you (either subtly or directly) for money, gifts or your banking/credit card details. They may also ask you to send pictures or videos of yourself, possibly of an intimate nature.
Often the scammer will pretend to need the money for some sort of personal emergency. For example, they may claim to have a severely ill family member who requires immediate medical attention such as an expensive operation, or they may claim financial hardship due to an unfortunate run of bad luck such as a failed business or mugging in the street. The scammer may also claim they want to travel to visit you, but cannot afford it unless you are able to lend them money to cover flights or other travel expenses.
Sometimes the scammer will send you valuable items such as laptop computers and mobile phones, and ask you to resend them somewhere. They will invent some reason why they need you to send the goods but this is just a way for them to cover up their criminal activity. Alternatively they may ask you to buy the goods yourself and send them somewhere. You might even be asked to accept money into your bank account and then transfer it to someone else.
Warning – the above scenarios are very likely to be forms of money laundering which is a criminal offence. Never agree to transfer money for someone else.
Sometimes the scammer will tell you about a large amount of money or gold they need to transfer out of their country, and offer you a share of it. They will tell you they need your money to cover administrative fees or taxes.
Dating and romance scammers can also pose a risk to your personal safety as they are often part of international criminal networks. Scammers may attempt to lure their victims overseas, putting you in dangerous situations that can have tragic consequences.
Regardless of how you are scammed, you could end up losing a lot of money. Online dating and romance scams cheat Australians out of millions every year. The money you send to scammers is almost always impossible to recover and, in addition, you may feel long-lasting emotional betrayal at the hands of someone you thought loved you.
Warning signs
You meet someone online and after just a few contacts they profess strong feelings for you, and ask to chat with you privately. If you met on a dating site they will try and move you away from the site and communicate via chat or email.
Their profile on the internet dating website or their Facebook page is not consistent with what they tell you. For example, their profile picture looks different to their description of themselves, or they say they are university educated but their English is poor.
After gaining your trust – often waiting weeks, months or even years – they tell you an elaborate story and ask for money, gifts or your bank account/credit card details.
Their messages are often poorly written, vague and escalate quickly from introduction to love.
If you don’t send money straight away, their messages and calls become more desperate, persistent or direct. If you do send money, they continue to ask you to send more.
They don’t keep their promises and always have an excuse for why they can’t travel to meet you and why they always need more money.
Protect yourself
Never send money to someone you haven’t met in person.
Always consider the possibility that the approach may be a scam, particularly if the warning signs listed above appear. Try to remove the emotion from your decision making no matter how caring or persistent the ‘prospective partner’ is.
Do an image search of your admirer to help determine if they really are who they say they are. You can use image search services such as Google or TinEye.
Be alert to things like spelling and grammar mistakes, inconsistencies in their stories and others signs that it’s a scam like their camera never working if you want to Skype each other.
Be cautious when sharing personal pictures or videos with prospective partners, especially if you’ve never met them before. Scammers are known to blackmail their targets using compromising material.
If you agree to meet a prospective partner in person, tell family and friends where you are going. Scamwatch strongly recommends you do not travel overseas to meet someone you have never met before. Consider carefully the advice on www.smarttraveller.gov.au before making any plans.
Be wary of requests for money. Never send money or give credit card details, online account details, or copies of important personal documents to anyone you don’t know or trust.
Avoid any arrangement with a stranger that asks for up-front payment via money order, wire transfer, international funds transfer, pre-loaded card or electronic currency, like Bitcoin. It is rare to recover money sent this way.
Do not agree to transfer money for someone else: money laundering is a criminal offence.
Be very careful about how much personal information you share on social network sites. Scammers can use your information and pictures to create a fake identity or to target you with a scam.
Have you been scammed?
If you think you have been scammed, report it to the website, app, or social media site where the scammer first approached you. Let them know the scammer’s profile name and any other details that may help them to stop others being scammed.
If you think you have provided your account details to a scammer, contact your bank or financial institution immediately.
We encourage you to report scams to the ACCC via the report a scam page. This helps us to warn people about current scams, monitor trends and disrupt scams where possible. Please include details of the scam contact you received, for example, email or screenshot.

Join me in documenting my Year 12 formal. What a amazing 6 years of High School, join me at the Novotel in Wollongong from Thursday 9th Dec, where I had my formal. from the amazing photos in market square, to the games, the amazing (small) food, the awesome awards!, (guess who won something!), dancing and much more, watch as we dance the night away, we get some mates on the vlog and much more.
Last week I had my year 12 graduation, such an amazing experience. Last Thursday was my formal. (Vlog coming this Monday).
There we have it. 6 years of high school ended. 13 years of full schooling complete. Time to move on to the next chapter in my life.
Year 7. Walking into the high school gates, not knowing what I would be walking into for the next 6 years.
I started my YouTube channel in early 2016, going into year 7, over the past 6 years of uploading I’ve watched myself grow up, as you viewers have as well via YouTube and myself . I am still connected to people and fans these days that watched the first video.
There’s much relief that this school year is over, with the stresses of the HSC, and most eventful, COVID19. As a major disruption to all schooling life, exams and more. Also, me being in hospital with COVID etc, the past 2 years especially have been challenging.
I am glad everything is over. We can now rest. (As well as keeping up with many commitments like work, volunteering etc)
with much relief there’s also much sadness, not seeing school friends everyday, some that I’ve knew since the first day of kindergarten, or even before. Not seeing the great teachers (which, hello if you are reading this blog post!) No more school structures, no more canteen, bells, timetables. Me taping my card paying for the garlic bread I got from school, not realising that it’d be my last time eating from their canteen will never see the school canteen on my bank statement again. Having less responsibility, I am in the real world now! All liability on me (talking about liability, read out legal disclaimers)
At the end of the day, our lives are just beginning, the school chapter is closed and the new chapter has opened up,myself continuing on with my media interests and all, many others continuing on with their interests.
People leave school and drift away, for uni or for work, and they meet new friends, and hang at new places. That’s normal, but it’s also normal to get a bit sentimental about leaving what you know behind. Your friends are everything to you, and you’re happy doing your familiar things at your familiar hang-outs. You don’t want it all to end forever. But what can you do? You can’t stop time.
We’ll, stay in touch with the people who loomed large in our high school lives That might seem obvious, but as easy as social media has made doing it, what’s not as obvious is that contact with your besties—actual face-to-face contact like your whisperings in Maths and hi-jinks on weekends—will fade to black unless you do something specific about maintaining it. Maybe a 10 year, or 15 year reunion?
of course with me doing the YouTube channel and all, many people will be able to continue to follow with what I’m doing, but not everything will be posted here. It’s always good to keep a balance with personal and professional/public lives.
I loved school, it was amazing, but there is so so much more to life.. Yes we will miss school, but at the end of the day, It’s time to move on. Let’s move on from school, and strive for the best for the future!

Life Update: My Return To YouTube & Social Media | NEWS & UPDATES
Overview
Hello all, it has been a while, there has been no new content for nearly 2 weeks at the time of writing this post, it’s been the longest time I’ve not uploaded in a while. In this blog I outline how my exams are going, when I should fully return to YouTube, content plans for the rest of2021 and more.
Like I mentioned in this video, and this blog post is that content will be limited during this time, I’ve been very busy with exams, work commitments, also prior to exams I finished a website for a client. ( do you need any Web design services, if so click here)
The question on everyone’s mind: WHEN WILL I RETURN!
I generally plan on looking into doing a few YouTube Shorts, my final exam is on the 23rd of Nov, (there’s at least a 3 day gap between all my exams)
I will do some short videos for now, I’ve been busy with exam, work commitments, and many appointments, that I had all got done prior to exams.
The Plan
My general plan for coming back into normal YouTube schedules will be as follows:
Attempt to upload some kind of content, or even live stream, (even its it short – throughout next week.
My aim this weekend is to film something, anything, no guarantees however,
Throughout next week and the week after similar limited content,
During the end of next week, start of next, content will be resuming to normal, with a “I’m back, my Return To YouTube!” Video vlog style video,
This will be discussing plans and all with the future,
Throughout end of November and into all of December, content will be at its full force, with vlogs, tech, IRL Collab and all being uploaded like normal.
What’s Happening In December & Beyond
Oh yes I also have my year 12 formal, this is happening early December, I plan to vlog that, then again no guarantees
In addition – I am doing a short hospitality course skills set in December, adding to the list of my qualifications, also in addition gaining many qualifications in many areas where possible –
There’s a lot happening during those times so videos will be amazing.
There is no confirmation with regards to content structure for 2022.
No word on what is happening in 2022 with regards to online content -more updates on this will be provided sometime in December.
Facebook, Instagram and Messenger services are returning after outages put the apps down for some users around the world, following similar incidents that affected billions last month.
It is not clear what the cause of the problem is at this stage.
After earlier acknowledging the problem on Twitter, Instagram has confirmed its services are back up and running.
“And we’re back! The issue’s been fixed, so if you were having trouble with DMs earlier you should be all good now,” Instagram’s social team posted.
And we’re back! The issue’s been fixed. So if you were having trouble with DM’s earlier, you should be all good now
Instagram social team
Messenger also posted an update, saying things were slowly improving.
We’re slowly but surely getting things back up and running,” they wrote.
“Thank you for bearing with us and we’re sorry for the wait.”
Facebook, Instagram and Messenger appear to be down for users around the world. This started at around 5:30AM AEST, Thursday, 4th Nov 2021.
The outage comes just weeks after a major outage for the company, which recently changed its name to Meta.
In October, all three apps stopped working for users, as well as the Meta-owned WhatsApp.
Thousands of outage reports were recorded by website health checker DownDetector, with users complaining of being unable to view, send or receive direct messages on Instagram.
Everything is working fine on Instagram and Facebook except their messaging services,” one user wrote, though other users said they were unable to post on either app.
More than 100 billion messages are sent across Facebook’s family of apps each day, so any outage can have a major impact on people’s ability to communicate with friends and family.
Last year, Facebook introduced an update that allowed Messenger users to send messages to Instagram users without needing to download the other app, and vice versa. While more convenient for some people, it also means that any outage impacting one messaging service will likely affect the other.
The Independent has reached out to Facebook for comment.
The whole COVID experience will be a time that I will never forgot, I generally don’t get much of a break here, with all of theCOVID situation, and also exams coming soon, which even though I am cleared, I am still recovering from covid in a sense
On the top of all of that Iamcurrently am studying for HSC Exams, scheduled to start on November 9th, of course the covid situation with me in hospital has effected my studies greatly, I still have to study where possible, so for this reason, content on youtube and online will be limited during this time.
I only have a few exams so I can focus on these ones, they are quite spaced apart, so here’s the general plan:
Upcoming to exams: (prior to exams starting):
Most likely less content on YouTube, shorter vlogs and tech content.
Live streams will happen, will be shorter with more timed structure.
During exam period:
Not much content, may be one video a week or not even
This will be only a three week period, so for example on weekends, or let’s say if I have a exam on Friday, so that precious weekend I could film some content for that time.
May not be live streams, if they happen they will be very short.
No guarantees for content. Exams and health is my focus.
Meanwhile I am looking into considerations due to my circumstances with what’s happening with COVID etc,

😷🤒🤕🧪💊🪟🛏😢 Background: My symptoms started on Wednesday/Thursday (early October), I had a sore throat, dry cough, headache, tiredness, shortness of breath etc, Dad got covid prior to me getting it. (To clarify, I have had one dose of pfizer, Dad is fully vaccinated)
NSW Health advised us to go to hospital, we got a rapid test (which is 70% effective) that came back negative for me to start, positive for Zac, after the PCR test (nasal swab) the result came back as positive. The 1 hour and a half wait was one of the most stressful things that has happened to me, not knowing the outcome.
We are now in the covid ward, having tablets and being monitored. I may be sent home if I improve, I am not sure how that would go..I am planning on doing a YouTube video soon outlining my experience when I am better, no videos for now as I am unwell,
I have no idea what will happen, when I will be home, how long I will stay here in hospitaleverything will all depend on the situation and circumstances, I know as much as you folks at this point. We are trying to recover as much as possible
UPDATE 5: UPON ASSESSMENT, I AM NO LONGER INFECTIOUS WITH COVID19. I AM CLEARED. Upon updated TGA Advice, my exemption is for 6 weeks as opposed to 6 months, then I can get my 2nd jab. More info via kalabtempleman.com.

Update 12/10/21 6:40AM AEDT Morning everyone, we are still here in hospital, fortunately my breathing has gotten a little better but not that much, still have a cough and my throat is much more sore. My temp last night was around 36.4° which is a decrease from 38° which is good.Yesterday I done a mini Q&A on IG, Stories which I will continue today so ask questions below, last night we moved to another story one below in the hospital, I am really missing the outdoors, what’d I’d love to feel is fresh air, but can’t feel that at this time.
update 1: Monday morning 11/10/21 Hello everyone, waiting on updates and plans in place and weather I’ll be staying here in hospital or if I will go to isolate at home, stay tuned for more information. My symptoms have worsened since this post was uploaded. My temperature was quite high 38° but i was given panadol/nurofen and the temp is going down that is good, my cough is increasing/decreasing as well, I will keep you guys updated where I can.
once we are are home, we’d wait until 14 days after my first symptoms (so including hospital days where we stayed, not just at home)
Facebook and its Instagram and WhatsApp platforms suffered a worldwide outage that lasted more than six hours on Tuesday morning (AEDT).
The outage began around 2.30am AEDT. Shortly before 9am, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp services have started to come back online, though some users are reporting that they are still experiencing problems. The company did not say what might be causing the outage.
Social media services Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger are back for some after a major outage to the online giant’s services.
Some online users reported being able to access the pages again – but there have not yet been any official announcements on a complete fix.
Outage website Downdetector earlier noted a spike in user reports relating to the services, which share backend infrastructure, about 2.45am.
“We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products,” Facebook said on Twitter.
“We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologise for any inconvenience.”
On Twitter, Facebook policy communications director Andy Stone said the company was aware of the reported problems and “working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible”.
Instagram and friends are having a little bit of a hard time right now, and you may be having issues using them. Bear with us, we’re on it! #instagramdown
The New York Times reports Facebook has now sent a team to one of its California data centres to manually reset the server.
The cause of the outage is still unknown.
We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Users reported being unable to access Facebook in the USA and Europe, as well as Australia.
Facebook’s internal systems used by employees also went down.
Doug Madory, director of internet analysis for Kentik Inc., said it appears that the routes Facebook advertises online that tell the entire internet how to reach its properties are not available.
Meanwhile, amid the outage, social media rival, Twitter, posted: “hello literally everyone.”
what’s up guys Kalab from kalabtempleman.com and in this video i’ll be giving you 10 tips on how to stay motivated doing lockdown if you’re new don’t forget to subscribe and notifications on
let’s get started first of all i need to give you background and context on what motivation actually is motivation is enthusiasm for doing something and a reason or reasons for acting or behaving in a particular way different types you’ve got intrinsic that’s pretty much the satisfaction point extrinsic reward driven positive as well pretty obvious you’ve got a reward for good performance stuff like that and of course negative as well that may be a consequence get into these 10 tips
number one is routine having a routine is key obviously when we’re at school you know try a cobra try a lockdown when we were at school when we were at work we had a routine we were able to go in at 9 amp clock on at 9am walk out at five have all your periods at school all of that with the lockdown it’s a bit difficult you’re really it’s all haywire in the sense of working at home and learning from home so in the sense having a basic routine and getting into habits i use always a quote which will bring up in a moment it’s always good to get into a habit for example with my phone you know if i’m going to sleep i put the phone in the top drawer or something so i can’t lose it you know you know getting into that habit where you’re just gonna do it that’s what i mean when i refer to routine in addition like i mentioned learn new habits or discover or rediscover old ones
number two is goal setting and rewards focus on the little things it’s better to get all of the little things done which you can do in a reasonable amount of time as opposed to letting all of them build up and put it into one massive problem for one massive task take it step by step at a time once goals are accomplished you can give yourself a reward for example let’s say if you’ve done a three-hour zoom meeting and you’ve took 20 pages of notes at work with you accomplishing that you can give yourself a reward watch your movie get fast food take away whatever you want to do you’ve got a goal then you’ve got a reward in addition to that i’ve got a great powerful quote here a goal without a timeline is just a dream of course with your goals it’s logically there’ll be a dream if you want to make them reality have a timeline on the steps that you’re going to do to achieve that respective goal
number three is connecting with others talking with people people who will impact you in a positive way there’s no point you spending 99 of your time trying to impact and influence somebody to do something when they’re only giving you one percent of that time back i know i’ve been experienced i’ve i’ve been in communities well i’ve been giving all of the positivity and all of the motivation and i haven’t got not much of that back and they give motivation to me a good example is fun i know you’re watching man what’s up because i’ll do a link in the link in description but me and schmon we were on a call after friday’s live stream we were on we were on for like three hours just dropping knowledge bombs doing loads of motivation motivating each other and that really motivates me one thing i love doing is i love helping people and of course involve people with what you’re doing that’s really important
number four is setting your priorities think of these three main questions what must be done what is important what will you compromise in the sense of if you need to get one thing done and let’s say if you’ve got another task that is a bit down the list how many hours what will you compromise for example you know let’s say if i’ve got a work shift on a friday evening obviously i regularly do the youtube live stream in the center but i got a work shift on a friday evening that would obviously be a priority over youtube in addition you can make progress every single day that’s important of course to change your life you need to change your priorities great quote or some random guy market
number five is staying positive think in the present one thing i’ve done many of times is always think either in the future in the past we always think of when we’re locked down and wants to go with the vaccines there’s there’s a lot on the mind you know look at melbourne look at sydney look at what’s in the new screens and there’s a lot on our minds it’s always ideal in that sense you think in the present stay positive remind yourself that this lockdown isn’t going to last forever whether we all get vaccines whatever we do this lockdown is not going to last forever and think of it this way everything you accomplish while you’re studying working at home it’s going to count towards your future success no matter how small it might be whether it’s you doing a one day online course or a month’s course whatever you do it’s always going to help you in the future always stay positive
number six once again thinking in the present taking a break there’s no point you going 30 hours with work or with school to get overwhelmed and burnt out for example with youtube i haven’t uploaded in the good four days i don’t know content over the weekend because i had some work and i was generally taking a break from social media to an extent it is okay to take a break you don’t need to be pushing out content or doing work or whatever take a breather take a break relax yourself and reward yourself with what you can do even though routine instruction is good sometimes it’s good to take a break from what’s happening once again think in the present moment don’t worry about what’s happening in the past or the future think of it with a modem if the modem doesn’t it works again similarly with humans almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes including you great a really great quote quote that
number seven is exercise and motivation i go to the weekly gym you know personal training group classes it’s amazing however with lockdown gyms are closed i haven’t gone to the gym over a month generally speaking you can get active and get fit at home in the sense center there’s a lot of workout videos on youtube you can improvise look with what’s around you what can i do try some new workouts motivation you want to know what i never done motivation i know my business studies change you especially every time before we start the class she put on this youtube clip of just five minutes of motivation and and that isn’t shout out to her and as well in that sense motivation can really help you in the sense of relaxing your mind restarting your mind it can really really help you and of course keeping fit and healthy and your mind healthy as well can help you with being motivated
number eight is celebrate every day of course during the lockdown there’s not much we can do but at home we might be able to go to the store if we’re vaccinated we might be able to go out with a friend or two to the park if you do a little task celebrate yourself that you’ve achieved something whether that’s getting a chocolate bar whether that’s watching a movie whether that’s doing a youtube stream using melon caleb timberland.com link in description whatever you want to do you know celebrate each day once you’ve achieved the task
number nine is do your personal best everybody is different everybody the lockdown affects every single person differently in that sense do your best what what if i wrote to you ego whether you’re getting a great kpi at work making your bed doing exercise eating today whatever your problem is or whatever you’ve got generally speaking if you do your personal best just do your personal best everybody does things differently you know do your personal best and
number 10 don’t wait just do it
super quick i’ll recap really really quick recap here have a routine goal setting rewards connecting with others setting your priorities setting goals stay positive take breaks when needed exercise meditate celebrate personal best don’t wait just do it that time to do a bit of a rap there but guys i really appreciate you all watching if you guys are new don’t forget to subscribe and on post notifications for more. all information provided in this video but general advice on i’ve been kalab from kalabtempleman.co i’m hoping you guys enjoy the template shout out to microsoft but um guys kalab from kalabtempleman.com. see you all next time bye for now
Melon, our sponsor, and the platform that we use to stream with, invited me up on their fortnightly show, called The Melon Report, in a first, new twist, they interviewed me. Check it out below!
